HOTEL BUDDHA is one of the best hotels in the city center OF THAMEL Kathmandu, here where the luxury facilities and budget prices can be together. I have booked a room for one night but I stayed there for three nights because I loved their rooms and facilities and services. The room was big and very well decorated. In the room almost whatever I needed, air-condition TV, electric water boiler tea and coffee, wooden floor. The bathroom was very big and clean with cold and hot water, also a hair dryer, bath mat, hand towels and bath towels. I love the open garden restaurant, quiet to have some coffee and read books especially in the afternoon, or even have beer or drink some in the evening. The restaurant food very good and the prices are similar to nearby coffee shops, but with good environment. The staff of this hotel they really care about their guests, and because of the quality of the service you will feel that you are the only guest in this hotel, but you are not. The teams of the front office and the restaurant they are trained very well, they made me stay very comfortable.

Location just along from an old favourite hotel of mine. Right in the centre of Thamel. Great buffet breakfast in the tranquil garden at the back. Great breakfast of bacon, sausage and loads of others (can be a little cold if you have breakfast later '9am' like me. Freshly cooked, to order, eggs -fried, omelette, scrambled. Fresh orange juice, ample coffee, fresh fruit salad & toast. You literally step into the hayhem and chaos of Thamel a few seconds from the reception. Room was great - 2 large bottles of water every day, bed made up and free toiletries. Very attentive staff from reception, porters, waiting staff, room service, etc..

The hotel location is very good, just in the centre, 10 minutes to Garden of Dreams and little more walk to the Royal Palace, which is worth it to go! Its easy to get to Rani Pokhari and Durbar square too. Breakfast is very nice and the meals from the menu are tasty. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel manager took care well about us and he arranged a very good driver for one day sightseeing tour so we managed to visit many places in one day. He also organised a very very great and experienced driver for taking us around Nepal in few days. The best idea ever. We would never reach any place driving on our own. Seriously! Thank you !

What we liked most was the staff and location. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived early and there was no fuss about entering our room early. Also liked the fact that there was no elevator and we needed to walk up the stairs to our room - thought that was a bonus for us. Everyone was cheerful. It was the perfect place to start our vacation. We wanted to be near a specific location (Chabad House )- and this was just unbelievably close. Breakfast looked okay but all we ate was a banana.

The hotel was centrally located and easy to get to. The staffs were cooperative and very friendly. The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. The WiFi was great as well. I loved the nice open garden where they had a breakfast buffet with live omelette station included with the price. I would definitely stay here again. Overall it was a great value for money and the service beyond my expectation.
