Hotel Buddha

I had quite a long stay (3 weeks). The hotel is not that remarkable in itself as it is a little older than some but what it lacks in modern architecture it makes up for in the friendliness, helpfulness and genuine care shown by the staff. I felt I was in good hands the whole time and they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and safe. I was not well when I arrived and they found me a local doctor; they guided me to places I would not ordinarily have visited and I enjoyed once in a lifetime experiences that were 'priceless'. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at the Buddha they made me feel very special...and ask about their other 'secret' businesses, worth the adventure.

The property itself was immaculate – spacious, comfortable, and serene – creating an environment that felt like a true home away from home. They treated my parents like cherished family members, going above and beyond to ensure their comfort. The hotel was centrally located and easy to get to. The staffs were cooperative and very friendly. The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. The WiFi was great as well. I loved the nice open garden where they had a breakfast buffet with live omelette station included with the price. I would definitely stay here again. Overall it was a great value for money and the service beyond my expectation.

The hotel location is very good, just in the centre, 10 minutes to Garden of Dreams and little more walk to the Royal Palace,which is worth it to go! Its easy to get to Rani Pokhari and Durbar square too. Breakfast is very nice and the meals from the menu are tasty. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel manager took care well about us and he arranged a very good driver for one day sightseeing tour so we managed to visit many places in one day. He also organised a very very great and experienced driver for taking us around Nepal in few days. The best idea ever. We would never reach any place driving on our own. Seriously! Thank you !
